We Will Not Be Silent:  The White Rose Student Resistance Movement That Defied Adolf Hitler Hans Scholl quickly became quickly disillusioned with the anti-Semitism of Hitler Youth shortly after joining. Together with his sister Sophie, these two college students formed an underground resistance movement in which many young people put their lives on the line to prevent the evils of Hitler and the Nazi party.
